で — Marking the Means
で marks the instrument or manner — how an action is carried out. It attaches to the style role, so it appears alongside を and に rather than replacing either.
で attaches to the instrument role — how or by what means an action is done. It adds to rather than replaces を and に: a command can carry all three.
